School Supplies
To order your child's school supplies for Fall, 2009 please go to www.epipacks.com
and enter the school ID, ROU027 and follow the directions and steps to complete your
order. Your child's packs will be in the MPR for pick-up on August 25th between
3:30-5:30 and on August 26th in the MPR at 8:00am. Thank you for your continued

Carnival/Auction May 31, 2009
Dear Round Meadow Families,
Thank you in advance for your much needed help. On May 31, 2009, Round Meadow will be hosting its Annual Carnival and Silent Auction, which is one of our school’s largest fundraisers. The success of this event is crucial in order for us to continue paying the salaries of our Librarian, Computer Specialist, Music Specialist, Art Specialist and Physical Education Specialist. Last year money raised at our Carnival was also used to help the school purchase books, computers, and other materials needed for the further education of our children.
Difficult financial times make fundraising efforts especially significant, as these efforts are now supporting basic educational materials and services that are provided to our kids at Round Meadow. Through events like this, we renew our determination to make our future a stronger place through our children’s education.
You can help now! Do you own a business with goods or services we could use? Do you have a condo that could be used for a vacation week? Do you have new items sitting in your closets that you’re never going to use? Be creative! We need lots of items for the silent auction.
Again, thank you for your consideration and help. Please complete the enclosed donation form and return it to the address listed. Send along any brochure, certificate or other information you would like us to include with your donation. Please make note that the event is not until May 2009 for any certificates that need to be dated. All proceeds from our Auction will go directly to support the education of our students at Round Meadow Elementary School. With your help, we can all profit by giving the world a better future.

Community Partners – A Great Way to Help Earn
Extra Money for Round Meadow
Here are 6 easy ways to Earn Money for Round Meadow School:
1. Ralphs
Go to www.ralphs.com and click on the Community Contribution link. You will need your Ralphs Club Card number. Round Meadow’s number is 82216. Enter in all the information and you are now linked in. If you don’t have a Club Card you can sign up right on the web site.
2. Escrip
EScrip is a fantastic resource for fundraising where participating business partners contribute a percentage of your grocery loyalty cards, credit card, and debit/ATM card purchases to the school. Go to escrip.com and sign up. You will need Round Meadow’s ID number: 140618728. You can register your Vons/Pavillions card online, as well as your debit and credit cards for use in the program. Your purchases are tracked and available to you online, allowing you to see just how much you are earning on your child’s behalf!
3. Box Tops
Go to www.boxtops4education.com for more information, but basically lots of products that you use everyday can mean easy money for Round Meadow. Everything from cereal to snacks and frozen foods have these labels. Simply cut the label out and put in the Big Blue Box in the front office. Have the kids do it to encourage them help out. We get 10 cents for every box top we send in. Twice each year Box Tops will send our school a check up to $20,000!
4. Office Depot
When you shop at Office Depot, have them donate 5% of your sales to Round Meadow for school supplies. They can look up the Round Meadows ID if you give them our name.
5. Target
Another way to raise funds for our school is to use your Target® Visa® or Target® Card. We will receive 1% of the amount of each purchase in the form of a cash donation from Target through the Take Charge of Education® program. It's easy. Just visit www.target.com/tcoe, to sign up.
6. Albertsons
The Community Partners program allows you to shop and earn money for Round Meadow. You can sign up by going to: Albertsons.com and click on the link “In the Community.” Once you get to that page click on the right side of the page for “Community Partners.” You can enter in your Albertsons Preferred Savings card number right there and you are signed up. Or, if you don’t have a Preferred Savings card, you can sign up for The Preferred Savings card online. It’s a bit tricky navigating but once you are signed up, Round Meadow will automatically get the money every time you shop.
That’s it! You’ve just done your part in helping Round Meadow and your kids. Tell grandparents, aunts, uncles, alumni, neighbors and friends and they can help Round Meadow, too.
