Dear Round Meadow Families,
Our 100th day of school canned food drive was a great success! We collected three giant bins full of canned goods to donate to the SOVA food pantry. These donations will go a long way toward helping out needy families. Just as importantly, we were able to model for our students acts of kindness while celebrating the milestone 100th day of school with some impressive canned food sculptures. Thank you to those who donated and to everyone who gave of their time on Friday to help our students with their sculptures. To see some great photos of our 100th day and other fun activities and events at Round Meadow, be sure to follow us on twitter @RoundMeadowElem or join our Facebook page.
Also, a big thanks to Launa Stone and Darrin Stone for reminding students about our recycling program at our Friday assembly. The students did a great job on Friday taking their time and putting their trash in the right containers. Our recycling bins were overflowing! Thanks to our 4th and 5th graders in the Green Team for helping our school and our planet.
Have a great week. Go Colts!
