Principal's Message

Dear Round Meadow Students and Families,
I’m excited to introduce myself as the new principal of Round Meadow Elementary. It’s an honor to join a school community known for its excellence, supportive families, and exceptional staff.
My path in education has been guided by a love of learning and a commitment to helping students thrive. I studied comparative literature at UCLA, earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from USC, and also completed a Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Cal Poly Pomona, with an emphasis in Design-Based Learning.
I began my career teaching high school special education, English, and AVID, and most recently served as the assistant principal at A.C. Stelle Middle School. These experiences have strengthened my belief in the importance of nurturing students’ critical and creative thinking while building their confidence as learners.
As principal, I’m eager to build on Round Meadow’s strong foundation while nurturing a school culture that values joy in learning, meaningful relationships, and academic growth. I look forward to getting to know you and working together to support our students’ success.
I can’t wait to see what we accomplish in the year ahead. Go Colts!
Warmly,
Stephanie Moncada
Principal, Round Meadow Elementary
